Introduction

This course is designed for beginners wishing to start studying this elegant Chinese martial art. For those who wish to improve their flexibility, strength, coordination, memory, balance and overall health, both mentally and emotionally aswell as physically. At the same time - meet a wonderful group of like minded individuals and make new friends.

What do we do?

This Tuesday morning class at the Methodist Church Hall, Northop Hall (nr Mold), is ideal for beginners as the session introduces students via a simplified Yang style form, the British 24 Step by Huang Jifu and an even simpler 8 Step Form.

Explanation and practice of Qiqong for improving health and fitness levels along with other disciplines including meditation. Experience not required and all levels of ability are welcome as exercises can be adapted to the individual students' requirements. Loose fitting clothes and trainers or other flat soled shoes ideal. Free parking available.

About Gaynor Gaynor
Gaynor, pictured in action here as a student with Professor Li De Yin has over a decade of successfully teaching beginners Tai Chi and associated disciplines.
Gaynor is the Dragon In The Hills' principle teacher, with beginners and improvers alike meeting up regularly at a range of sessions throughout the Vale and surrounding areas. Emphasis is on learning the basics and Simplified Yang Style is an ideal starting place. Gaynor is always keen to help and support students explore and play with activities such as partnerwork and other Taiji disciplines.
Gaynor's classes are growing in popularity as the health benefits of this particular exercise are recognised in the U.K. and a light hearted and fun environment in which to study and practise.

A saying by George Bernard Shaw, proves apt - "We do not stop playing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop playing" !
